Vessels of GOLD presents “Listen!”
Music, comedy, drama, dance plus some surprises, all with the theme “Listen!” will be in store when Vessels of Gold performs May 11 at Pinelands Presbyterian Church (10201 Bahia Dr. in Cutler Bay). The 7:30 pm program, free to the public, features an acting troupe of 13 teenagers, all home-schooled. The show will include music ranging from barbershop, swing dance, movie tunes, both old and new. P.A.C.E. Book Fair and Workshops
Parents Association for Christian Enrichment (P.A.C.E.) of Miami’s FREE Book Fair & Workshops, Friday, May 11th from 9:00-2:00 at Ambassador Baptist Church. This event is FREE to the public and will feature 12 workshops as well as 50+ tables of new and used books. Workshops focused on Homeschooling, Florida Virtual School, Miami Dade College Dual Enrollment, as well as Christian encourgement like “Simplicity as a Way of Life”, “A Time of Encouragement–Ministering to the Heart of a Parent” and “Loving Your Neighbor”. VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVE AT WAYSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH
Tell your neighbors, friends, family, co-workers, church members, etc. to come to Wayside on Saturday, May 5th. This is for first time voters, those who need to submit an address change, their name on their card, students turning 18, those needing replacement card, want to change their party…this is a non-partisan voter registration drive. Everyone is welcome. YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
