Stories & Beats is a ministry of Bay Community Church. A monthy gathering with the purpose of providing a familiar environment for the masses that walk to the hip hop beat. If you are a fan of these performing arts this is a place for you. We also encourage outside involvement, so if you can rap, if you are a poet, if you dance, if you sing, if you draw, this is a place for you. God Squad Outreach 2012

For the past several years Pastor Robert Fountain from Calvary Chapel Miami Beach, have coordinated “The God Squad” made up largely (but not entirely) of Christians from several area churches and one or two from other areas.

We have recruited help each year and would welcome more from those interested in serving. We adhere to the old proverb, “instead of cursing the darkness shine some light”. Each year 40-70 volunteers on bright colored t-shirts hit the streets of South Beach between 6:00 pm and 3:00 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights of Memorial Day weekend to do just that. This is a city-initiated effort which Pastor Robert Fountain coordinate as a chaplain for MBPD.

A training is scheduled for May 13 between 4:00PM and 5:00PM at Calvary Chapel Kendal.

A second training scheduled for May 20th between 4:00PM and 5:00PM at Calvary Chapel Miami Beach.
